The Vodafone Arena (officially İnönü Spor Kompleksi) is a multi-purpose stadium located in the city of Istanbul, Turkey, owned by the sports club Beşiktaş JK of the Süper Lig team. The bleachers of the stadium where the former BJK Inonu Stadium existed, was built in 1939 and demolished in mid-2013. Its capacity is 41 903 spectators.
The stadium is located on the European shore of the Bosphorus near historical buildings of Ottoman architecture, such as Dolmabahçe Palace, Dolmabahçe Clock Tower and Dolmabahçe Mosque.
The stadium opened on April 11, 2016 in a ceremony attended by, among others, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Afterwards, the first official match was played at the stadium between the Besiktas and Bursaspor home team with a 3-2 win. The first goal was scored by German Besiktas striker Mario Gomez.
